Scope of service
Your Nature Guide CR offers nature experiences and tourism guide services in Costa Rica's South Pacific. Duration, difficulty, meeting point, inclusions and format are described on each tour page.
Inquiries and bookings
An inquiry by form, email or WhatsApp is not automatically a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when Your Nature Guide CR expressly communicates confirmation and the agreed commercial conditions are met.
Availability, rates and coordination are currently handled through WhatsApp at +506 8536-3954 or [email protected]; the website does not process bookings or payments directly.
Prices and included services
Prices may vary by tour, season, group size, format, providers and requested services. The applicable price is the one communicated during coordination.
Review each experience's inclusions and exclusions. Meals, transportation, photographs, lodging and other services are not identical across all tours.
Cancellations, changes and no-shows
A 100% refund applies when the guest cancels at least 24 hours before departure. Corcovado retains 50% for admission and services arranged in advance; its remaining special conditions are still pending.
A no-show without a justified weather- or health-related reason is charged in full. Date changes depend on park admission and guide availability and must be requested through official channels.
Weather, safety and operational decisions
An activity may be modified, delayed, rescheduled or cancelled because of weather, sea conditions, safety, park closures, authority restrictions, trail conditions or circumstances beyond the operator's reasonable control. Safety takes priority.
If Your Nature Guide CR or the responsible guide cancels because an experience cannot be operated safely, rescheduling or a 100% refund will be offered as applicable.
Wildlife observation
Sightings of specific species cannot be guaranteed. Animals live freely and their presence depends on weather, season, natural behavior and ecosystem conditions.
The guide will make reasonable efforts to locate and interpret wildlife without disturbing animals or their environment.
Health, special needs and participation
Report any condition or need relevant to safe and reasonable participation before departure. Unnecessary medical information should not be submitted.
Guests must follow guide safety instructions and act respectfully toward wildlife, other people, communities and protected areas.
Minors
Every booking requires at least one adult. Child rates apply from ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 join free of charge only at Marino Ballena and Hacienda Barú with prior coordination; all other tours have a minimum age of 3.
Third-party services
Some experiences may involve transportation, boats, lodging, admission or services provided by local suppliers. Relevant components will be identified in the confirmation where applicable.
At Sirena, for example, the boat may be private or shared and park lodging is shared; these services should not be understood as always private or directly operated by Your Nature Guide CR.
Luggage and personal belongings
Visitors are responsible for caring for their belongings and bringing appropriate equipment. This does not exclude responsibilities legally applicable to the operator or a provider.
